• For our in-clinic services, we see children aged 0 to 8 years old. When a child starts with us, we do not terminate services due to “aging out”. Once you start services with us, we continue those services until it is decided, as a group, that our services are no longer needed, regardless of how old your child is.

  • We are currently in-network with Wellmark BCBS (this allows us to also accept other BCBS plans), HealthPartners, and all Iowa Medicad companies- Wellpoint, Molina and Iowa Total Care. Unfortunately, UnitedHealthcare has closed their networks to ABA providers so we are unable to serve those families. If you don’t see your insurance provider on the list, feel free to reach out because we may be able to work with them as an out-of-network provider.

  • Nope! We are proud to be locally owned by a BCBA. While we do hope to add more providers, our goal is to remain local and support our community.

  • Give us a call or send us an email! ABA services require an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis but no referral from a doctor is needed to start the process.

  • At New View, children usually come to therapy sessions every day, Monday through Friday. The length of therapy sessions depends on individual needs but typically range from 3 hours to 7.5 hours.

  • We work with children this much for multiple reasons:

    • Research has shown that intensive therapy (e.g., 20–40 hours per week) often leads to better outcomes, particularly for young children. The earlier and more consistently therapy is provided, the more effective it tends to be.

    • Many children with developmental delays, such as autism, require extra time and practice to learn skills that typically developing children acquire naturally.

    • We are able to balance work and play so that children remain happy, relaxed and engaged!
