Inclusive Learning Support & Onsite Support
At New View Autism, we believe children thrive when support is built into the environments where they learn every day. Our school based services support children, educators, and early learning programs across the Urbandale and Des Moines metro area through collaboration, connection, and developmentally appropriate care.
School-Based ABA Services
We offer one-on-one ABA therapy within preschool, childcare, and school settings for children who benefit from individualized support in their natural learning environment.
Providing services within the classroom allows children to practice communication, social interaction, and coping with life’s challenges in real-time—during routines, transitions, play, and peer interactions. This approach supports school readiness, independence, and meaningful participation without pulling children away from the environments where they feel most comfortable.
Therapy is child-led, relationship-focused, and intentionally guided by trained professionals who collaborate closely with educators to ensure support feels seamless and respectful within the school day.
School Consultation & Collaboration
Strong partnerships lead to the best outcomes for children. Our BCBAs work directly with teachers, childcare providers, and school teams to support inclusive, supportive classrooms.
Through consultation, we help teams:
Understand the why behind behavior
Embed supportive strategies into daily routines
Create environments that reduce challenges before they escalate
Support communication, engagement, and participation for all learners
Rather than adding extra work, our goal is to help educators feel confident using practical, realistic strategies that fit naturally into their classrooms.
Professional Development & Training
We also offer professional development and training for educators, childcare staff, and early childhood teams.
Trainings are tailored to the needs of each program and may focus on topics such as:
Supporting behavior through connection and prevention
Developmentally appropriate behavior support
Building inclusive classrooms
Understanding communication differences
Responding to challenging moments with confidence and care
Our trainings are interactive, practical, and grounded in real classroom experiences—designed to leave teams feeling supported, capable, and empowered.
(I would like to include something on here about being a certified trainer with IAAEYC so that preschools/daycares know our trainings counts towards their training hour needs)
Why School-Based Support Matters
When children receive support in the environments where they learn every day, skills are more likely to stick. By partnering with schools and early learning programs, we help children practice meaningful skills in real-world settings while supporting the adults who care for them most.
At New View Autism, our school and community-based services are guided by the same values as our clinic-based care: compassionate support, developmentally appropriate practices, and connection over compliance.
If you’re an educator, administrator, or family interested in school-based services, consultation, or professional development in the Urbandale or Des Moines metro area, we’d love to connect and explore how we can support your community.
